How might we guide children with Autism, who are easily distracted, through games and activities in therapy?
Easily distracted and overwhelmed kids
Studio 930 was approached by RHSC to design a system for “leading” kids with autism who are easily distracted. When moving from one room to another, the distracted kids often wander off and it takes up valuable therapy time to get the back on track.
Rapid Prototyping
We worked with the shapes and size of the custom PCB board to design a shell that would be put in the silicone pour.
Data Collection to Track Progress
By tracking the children’s playtime, therapists can make useful observations about therapy progress over time.
Exciting lights & sounds to engage kids
MoonPads guide children through both solo or group tasks, from confidence boosting games to therapeutic activities.
Open-source & Community Build
Through a series of workshops children in elementary school learned about Autism while creating a unique collection of MoonPads to donate to local institutions.
